शिवपुरी. गैस सिलेंडरों के दामों में बेतहाशा बढ़ोत्तरी का नतीजा यह है कि जिन महिलाओं ने गैस कनेक्शनों (एलपीजी कनेक्शन) से जिंदगी बदलने की आस लगाई थी, वे फिर चूल्हे पर खाना पकाने के लिए मजबूर हो चुकी हैं. गरीब महिलाओं को चूल्हे के धुएं से मुक्ति दिलाने के लिए मोदी सरकार (मोदी सरकार) उज्ज्वला योजना (प्रधानमंत्री उज्ज्वला योजना) लेकर आई थी. इस योजना के ज़रिये गरीब महिलाओं की आंखों में धुएं से बहने वाले आंसुओं को रोकने की कोशिश थी, लेकिन गैस सिलेंडर के लगातार बढ़ते दामों ने योजना के उद्देश्य पर पानी फेर दिया है.

Through this scheme, an attempt was made to stop the tears flowing from the eyes of poor women due to smoke, but the continuously increasing prices of gas cylinders has ruined the purpose of the scheme.
उज्ज्वला योजना के तहत पात्र लाभार्थियों को मुफ्त में गैस कनेक्शन उपलब्ध कराए गए थे. बेतहाशा बढ़ती महंगाई के चलते गैस सिलेंडर के दाम कुछ ही सालों में दोगुने से ज्यादा हो चुके हैं. इस कारण गरीबों को सिलेंडर भराने में मुश्किल का सामना करना पड़ रहा है. मध्य प्रदेश के मुरैना, ग्वालियर, शिवपुरी, दतिया, सतना, भिंड, बालाघाट, आदि। अंचल में ऐसे सैकड़ों लाभार्थी हैं, जो सिलेंडर को घर में रखे हैं पर चूल्हे पर खाना बना रहे हैं. उनका कहना है इस समय एक सिलेंडर के दाम करीब 1100 रुपये हो चुका है. हम 300 रुपये की दिहाड़ी मजदूरी करने वाले बच्चों का पेट पालें या गैस सिलेंडर भराएं?
